is preparing to open its doors on Aug. 2, 2024 with a “micro food hall” concept offering pizza slices, sliders, milkshakes and cocktails.as well as Serious Pizza, will open in the EpicCentral entertainment complex at 2971 S. State Highway 161, in Grand Prairie.The buildout of Serious Eats allows a versatile use of the space: One of its interior walls opens to the Jambox stage where live music, watch parties, and trivia nights abound.
Some of the drinks offered by Serious Eats are classics, like strawberry or peanut butter milkshakes, but there are also some boozy shakes, like a Vincent Vega with vanilla ice cream, caramel, and bourbon; or a Regina George, a strawberry milkshake with a shot of rum. Among the specialties are a Tex-Mex slider with pepper jack cheese, avocado smash, lettuce, pico, jalapeños and chipotle aioli; or a Californication slider, with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, chipotle aioli and avocado smash.The food hall will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., with alcohol service stopping at 2 a.m., Staff Writer.
