A serving Police Scotland officer has been charged following an investigation by the force’s anti-corruption unit. The officer, alongside a former officer, a man, and a woman, were arrested last Wednesday and have since been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

The male cop has been suspended and was arrested last Wednesday along with two other men and a woman. According to the BBC, one of the other men is a former officer who resigned from the force.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Following an investigation conducted by Police Scotland’s anti-corruption unit, three men and a woman were arrested across central Scotland on Wednesday December 18.
