BREAKING: Climate activists have blocked the entrance of seven oil terminals in the UK, including London and Birmingham, to stop the government ‘burning the future’.
A group, calling themselves Just Stop Oil, says it blocked ‘key oil’ terminals from around 4am this morning.
Climate activists have blocked the entrance of seven oil terminals in the UK, including London and Birmingham, to stop the government ‘burning the future’.In a series of tweets it said hundreds had joined the protest and gave a number of other locations it will be targeting later in the day in Essex and Hertfordshire.The activists are calling for the UK Government to stop all funding of new oil licenses and exploration.
