The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) pays Personal Independence Payments (PIP) to millions of people every week
The Department for Work and Pensions pays Personal Independence Payment to help certain people with extra living costs. This includes those who have a long term physical or mental health condition which leads to difficulty completing certain every day tasks.
Citizen's Advice says that there are a number of other changes you should tell the DWP about because they might affect your PIP, and if you’re not sure, it’s worth telling them anyway. Citizens Advice says you should try and keep a written record of when you report the changes just in case the DWP disagrees that a change has been reported. If you report the change by phone, make a note of what you said and when you called. If you write to report the change, keep a copy of the letter.
