There are plenty of options
While Nottingham isn't short of a place to go for a pint or two on New Year's Eve, there are plenty of options if you prefer a quieter night. It can be difficult to decide what to do if you don't drink or want to avoid the bar scene on one of the busiest nights of the year.
The rooms work on time slots so there are still a few available for New Year's Eve throughout the day. Each room can take two to five people with prices starting at £19 for a group.
There are classes available but it's easy to get started as a beginner. The centre has all of the equipment and advice you could possibly need on how to get started. It won't be a late one as Depot closes at 6pm but perfect if you are looking for something physical to do or have little ones bouncing off the walls at home.So this is one for the adults as Gloryholes on George Street is definitely not child-friendly.
Cineworld also has late-night screenings of some of the biggest films including Avatar while Savoy in Lenton has afternoon options. The Dice Cup is a truly enjoyable place to spend an evening with enough board games to suit everyone from cooperative experiences to traditional card games. Not only that but the cafe is vegan too so there are a few treats on offer if you need to refuel mid-game.
