Police have charged seven youths aged between 13 and 16 following disorder in Edinburgh on Bonfire Night where a shop in Oxgangs was targeted.
The Scottish capital was hit badly with Bonfire Night chaos with the majority of serious incident taking place in Edinburgh. On Ferry Road Drive, police officers were attacked by a number of individuals throwing bricks at their vehicle. Youths began throwing fireworks at members of the public and at Drylaw Police Station. A police vehicle was attacked with bricks in the Niddrie area resulting in a window being smashed and an officer sustaining a minor cut to their lip.
