Several people caught in Ben Nevis landslide as emergency crews race to the scene
The Coastguard and an air ambulance have been scrambled to the UK's highest peak following the horror at around 11.5oam.It isn't yet clear if there are any injuries.
Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of an avalanche on Ben Nevis shortly after 11:50 this morning. "Police Scotland is currently co-ordinating the mountain rescue response to this incident and is supporting partners at the scene.
