Meanwhile, Marine Rescue volunteers were heading to the Tweed River bar to rescue three people on a jet ski that had lost power."They're doing a wonderful job going to save these people and they'll be working to the yachts being adrift or crashing up against other yachts. "The highest impact area so far has been the Sydney area, and they have had around 680 incidents," she said.BOM senior meteorologist Christie Johnson said the wet weather could persist for days to come.
