A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for portions of eastern Colorado until 9 p.m. Monday. Although the city of Denver is not included in the Severe Thunderstorm Watch, it does include most of the rest of eastern Colorado.Scattered thunderstorms and showers are likely through early evening, and we could see a few of these storms turn severe. The biggest threats will be large hail, damaging winds, frequent lightning and pockets of heavy rain.
