Severe storms hit northeast Arkansas Wednesday afternoon, bringing strong wind, rain, thunder, lightning, and hail.
KJNB’s Sara Doan was in her news vehicle in Jonesboro when the storm arrived around 12:56 p.m. and reported hail pelting buildings and cars for several minutes.The storm caught some by surprise as it hit as people were returning from their lunch break. Two panels- including one that was snapped in half fell to the ground and concrete below, steps from drivers on Caraway Road.
