During his testimony, Westwood apologized to a budding teen actress for acting in a predatory manner but denied that this meant sexually. The court heard that Westwood forced his drama class students to recite Shakespeare naked and engaged in nude role-play scenarios.
He is also alleged to have sexually abused a girl over a seven-year period, starting from when he was 10-years-old. Westwood claimed that a letter apologizing for inappropriate behavior was written under duress from his father and did not mean 'predatory' in a sexual context
