Constable David Jackson made his colleague feel 'mortified, belittled and worthless as a police officer.'
A Merseyside Police officer shook his head as he was sacked from the force after showing a photo of his colleague in a bikini around the office.
The officer was also accused of making derogatory comments about sex workers when sharing a story with colleagues about how he'd cheated on his ex-wife while on their honeymoon in Thailand, by having sex with a sex worker on a lilo. PCP and Constable Jackson began working together when she was moved onto the same team as him in Southport. She confided in him at this time that she had moved roles due to suffering from PTSD as a result of her time as a response officer, when she had to perform CPR at three murder scenes in one summer.
PCP and Constable Jackson were friends on Facebook, which meant they could see each other's photos. The female officer said she was informed by a colleague that Constable Jackson had shown a Facebook photo of her wearing a bikini while on holiday with her boyfriend in the Lake District, to others in the office.
PCP also told the hearing how Constable Jackson had called her fat on a number of occasions, which he denied. The panel found PCP's account to be true but said it did not amount to misconduct or gross misconduct.
