Shakhtar Donetsk sporting director has confirmed Arsenal’s “interest” in winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, who will be too expensive for clubs from Italy.The Ukrainian forward was attracting interest from Arsenal, Brentford and Everton last summer, when he was reportedly valued at around £30million.

The likes of Brentford and Everton will probably be out of the running to sign Mudryk in January, though Arsenal remain constantly linked with the 21-year-old. The director says there have been no official bids made for Mudryk, but believes interested clubs from Italy will be priced out of a deal.
