“I want to send my condolences to the victims and the families of all those affected by this desperate situation. The recently elected Labour MP spoke on X about the visit, he said: “I went to a really moving service of prayer and solidarity in Giffnock and Newton Mearns Synagogue with a very powerful reflection from the First Minister on the unfolding tragedy in the Middle East.
