The performance of the thousand-year old martial arts will be held on June 6 in a venue yet to be announced by the embassy and its fellow organizer, Federation of Filipino-Chinese Associations of the Philippines Foundation. Shaolin Kungfu is one of the oldest and most renowned styles of martial arts of Chan Buddhism, which originated and was developed in the Shaolin Temple in the Chinese province of Henan more than 1,500 years ago.
