Three people swimming in the ocean that were "waist deep" at Florida beaches were attacked by sharks, according to authorities.
Walton County Fire Chief Ryan Crawford said the woman was with her husband swimming passed the first sand bar when she suffered "significant trauma to mid-section and pelvic area as well as amputation of her left lower arm." Officials said two female victims, between the ages of 15 and 17, were with a group of friends when the "shark incident" happened.One of them suffered "significant injuries" to one upper and one lower extremity, which both required tourniquets.The second girl suffered flesh wounds to her lower right foot and is reportedly in stable condition.
