Sheffield City Council said a "masterplan" would transform the Gleadless Valley area, but there were no plans to demolish tower blocks on Ironside RoadA resident living in an "uninhabitable" Sheffield council flat with mould and damp has said a row of tower blocks in Gleadless needed "knocking down".
Ms Heath fears her three-year-old son's persistent cough could be connected to the living conditions on Ironside Road. Other problems she has recently encountered include a damaged pipe causing "sewage water coming through kitchen flooring", plug points coming off the walls and a smashed window in a communal area.
