'I think Poch would be a great signing for Chelsea.' CFC
Date published: Tuesday 2nd May 2023 7:50 -Teddy Sheringham thinks “everything can change” at Chelsea if they can sign a “finisher” with Mauricio Pochettino expected to be a “great” appointment.
Neither decision has been justified with Frank Lampard – who has lost all five of his games in charge – taking over until the end of the season. “Chelsea are missing a goal scorer; they need a goal scorer. If they could get a finisher in there, I think everything can change for them. Asked if taking the job at the end of 2022-23 is a cop out, Sheringham replied: “That’s one way of looking at it, you could say it is a bit of a cop out not to go into the job immediately, but then you have to look at the vibe at the club – Chelsea have been a shambles this year.
