The Democratic Ohio senator has a 5-point lead over his Republican rival according to a new right-leaning survey.
Ohio Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown is leading Republican challenger Bernie Moreno in November according to a new survey from the conservative leaning Rasmussen Reports.The poll of 1,267 likely voters in Ohio, conducted from August 13 to August 17, shows Brown with a 5-point lead with 47 percent of the vote against Moreno's 42 percent.
Similarly a survey of 600 likely voters in the state conducted by AARP Research between July 23 and July 28 found 46 percent of voters were planning to back Brown, putting him 4 points ahead of Moreno on 42 percent.Newsweek contacted the office of Brown and Moreno's senate campaign for comment via email and online inquiry form respectively.Rasmussen Reports also conducted polling between August 13 and August 17 in the key Senate battleground states of Arizona, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
