CEBU CITY — The mayor of Consolacion in Cebu province has asked shipyard firms operating in their municipality to relocate in northern Cebu to facilitate the town's developmental plans.Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado said this during a meeting at the Cebu Provincial Capitol on Thursday, which was attended by representatives from some of the shipyard firms based in Barangay Tayud.
Garcia has also emphasized the importance of legal compliance and fostering growth opportunities for all stakeholders.Represented at the meeting were MCF Heavy Industries Corporation, Uni-Orient Pearl Ventures Incorporated, Fortune Shipworks Incorporated, Santiago Shipyard and Shipbuilding Corporation, Nagasaka Shipyard Incorporated, Colorado Shipyard Corporation and Philippine Rigid Construction Corporation.
