A small business owner has been left thousands of dollars out of pocket after a masked offender ram raided a shopping centre in South Australia.
Police are hunting two thieves who drove a car into the St Agnes shopping precinct in Adelaide's north, then broke into an electronics store with hammers and took off with an estimated $15,000 worth of watches and phones.
CCTV footage shows the thieves smashing through the doors of the shopping centre before breaking into store Pop Phones and taking off with the electronics on display.The thieves took off with an estimated $15,000 worth of electronics at an Adelaide shopping centre. The back doors of the St Agnes Shopping Centre were left in tatters, while pieces of the shattered getaway car were also left at the scene.
Police say the offenders, one masked and hooded, while the other was wearing high viz, took off in a white Hyundai Excel."This is not acceptable, we are a small business," he told 9News."The cost of living is going up and up and we are struggling to survive."It's not the first robbery at the shopping centre, which employees said had been targeted twice before.
