E-mail: [email protected] is the moment a man punched a woman in a car park in front of terrified shoppers after he chased her for overtaking him in a shocking instance of road rage.
The driver can be heard saying 'I'm going to punch you in the face' in shocking footage, before allegedly striking the terrified mum twice in the back as witnesses shouted to 'get his number plate'.Linda Schofield said she wasn't driving dangerously or speeding but it provoked the driverThe motorist then sped off as Ms Schofield, a farm shop worker who is Camberley resident, pleaded for witnesses to call the police.
'A lot of people said why didn't you punch him back? But I was just in shock. I was scared he was going to attack me again. Hampshire Police confirmed they were investigating reports of a man who allegedly threatened a woman and hit her twice before driving away on October 25. They are appealing for any information from the public.
'Then the traffic lights turned to green and I indicated to go to Lidl and I looked and he was coming in as well.'As I parked he whizzed up at the side of me, left his car in gear so his car lurched forward so that's when I thought this isn't right and pressed record on my phone.'He said something like"you're trying to crash".
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: 'We were called on 25 October to a report of an assault at the Lidl car park on London Road in Blackwater.'The man then got into a vehicle a drove away. No injuries were reported.
