THIS is the harrowing moment a rookie cop shoots a woman dead after aiming his gun at her dog.
Ms Brooks, 30, can be heard screaming, "Oh my god" and yelling in pain moments after the unnamed cop opened fire. Police said that Ms Brooks, who was believed to be homeless, had appeared to be unconscious on the grass.The footage shows him approaching Ms Brooks and saying: "Hello. Are you OK?’ - to which she replies, "Yeah, I’m fine".
"Clearly, this is not the outcome the officer wanted, nor is it the outcome that the department wanted."
