The latest CQC ratings paint a dismal picture as the government announces reform plans
The majority of mental health services in Yorkshire are considered 'unsafe' and have been rated as 'requires improvement'.

Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust: unsafe Half of Sheffield's six mental health services have been judged 'requires improvement' by the CQC. Humber Teaching Trust: safe Four out of seven mental health services run by Humber Teaching Trust were judged as safe, with three rated as 'requires improvement'.
"Where we find that people are at risk of harm, we can and do take action to protect them and to drive improvement," he said. "But there also needs to be targeted funding, improved community support and investment in the workforce to make sure that people with mental health needs get the right care, in the right place, at the right time."
