Astro-Royale-Chapter-8-Color-Cover
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT How a Shōnen Jump manga ranks in the table of contents is a good way of judging its popularity, and that’s good for one of its newest manga, Astro Royale. The series was rather divisive even before it debuted, largely due to the reputation of Ken Wakui’s previous series, Tokyo Revengers, but with chapter #9, Astro Royale debuted in Shōnen Jump with a very high ranking for a new series.
Astro Royale's placement at fifth place in the table of contents proves the magazine is looking favorably on the series. That’s a great sign for Astro Royale’s longevity, and more importantly, it’s a great sign that it could become Shōnen Jump’s next big hit. As for why Astro Royale is doing so well, that’s very easy to explain. As divisive as it might be in the West, Tokyo Revengers is still one of the most popular manga to come out in recent years, so this has probably given Astro Royale a boost. Beyond that, Astro Royale’s pleasing art style and engaging characters, action, and power system make it very easy to read.Astro Royale has more than earned its impressive ranking, and hopefully, it won’t be leaving anytime soon.
