Police in the Bronx are searching for a gunman who fatally shot one man and injured another in a hail of bullets on Saturday night, authorities said.received a slew of 911 calls reporting that gunfire had erupted on East 187th Street and Tiebout Avenue in Fordham Heights at around 8:53 p.m. on March 30.
After racing to the scene, the officers discovered a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the stomach and buttocks. Both victims were whisked to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, where the 25-year-old was pronounced dead. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.was caught in the crossfire of another shooting mere blocks away on East Fordham Road and Grand Concourse.
