On the mound, Kevin Rusinak tossed four innings of one-run ball on five hits and three walks with eight strikeouts to earn the win for Manalapan, who will face four-seed Toms River East on Monday in the second round of the SCT.Senior Andrew Gendi tossed a complete game with eight strikeouts and allowed only two hits to lead 11-seed Matawan over 22-seed Jackson Liberty during the first round of the SCT in Aberdeen.
