Shots were fired during a high school football game in Wayne, New Jersey on Friday night, according to the school.
Students ran around frantically as police rushed to the football field at the conclusion of the game between Lenape High School and Passaic Technical Institute in Wayne on Friday night.
One witness tells Eyewitness News that she saw two shooting victims. Another witness - a parent - left the game with her daughter, who is in one of the high school bands - she says she heard the crackle of gunfire in the parking lot. Her car is now part of the crime scene."All Lenape High School students and staff are safe and unharmed.
Eyewitness News reached out to Passaic Technical Institute for a statement, but have yet to hear back.
