“On Monday, we had our mindfulness morning and extra special breakfast where we had 16 carers participate.Get all the news from your area – as well as features, entertainment, sport and the latest on Lanarkshire’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic – straight to your fingertips, 24/7. “On Wednesday we had our carers event at Springhill Community Hub. In attendance was Helen McAllister from Carers Together providing information and support available to carers.
“We had 36 carers who enjoyed taking part in tea meditation followed by a lovely brunch. On Friday we delivered 22 afternoon tea boxes to carers within our communities, to show our appreciation for their dedication and hard work.”
