A new bill would put most delta-8-THC hemp products in Ohio recreational marijuana dispensaries for purchase by adults aged 21 and older. They’re currently sold in gas stations, health food stores and online.
3. The Ohio House Higher Education Committee is continuing hearings with the state’s public universities about how they’re implementing the “science of reading” with their education majors. They’ll be talking with officials from Bowling Green, Central, and Kent state universities on Tuesday, and then Youngstown and Ohio State on Wednesday.

Mike DeWine is speaking Tuesday morning at the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities’ 2024 Mental Health and Addiction Conference, after the federal government sued her for failure to pay about $650,000 in federal taxes and late fees. She found the spotlight when she baselessly told an Ohio legislative committee that COVID-19 vaccines magnetize their hosts and interface with cell towers.
