The trust which runs Shropshire’s acute hospitals has announced the winners of its annual virtual awards, celebrating the contributions of its ‘amazing’ colleagues in difficult times.

“It was such a difficult task for the judges to choose the winners, but also a great honour, as it is so fantastic to see all the great work going on at our trust. The Caring Award was given to the Macmillan clinical specialist occupational therapists for their ‘pivotal’ role in the caring of brain tumour patients.
She supported the ward with any patients who were needing to be discharged in a timely way to create capacity at the front door.
