Firefighters stopped a fire involving curtains spreading in a flat in Shrewsbury.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received 999 calls at 7.15pm on Sunday after the blaze started in a second floor flat in New Street in the town.The crews wore breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, with colleagues ensuring their safety with a covering jet.
They brought the fire under control by 7.45pm and used a thermal imaging camera to ensure their were no hotspots to allow the fire could re-ignite.
