Shrewsbury Town have begun searching for a new head coach to replace Paul Hurst who was sacked on Sunday.
First-team coach Sean Parrish took training on Monday as Shrewsbury looked for their fourth permanent boss since the start of 2023.
Burton take on Crawley on Tuesday evening in a game which could see The Brewers close the gap on Town to just one point. It was that record which led to former boss Hurst being sacked after toxic scenes at the Peninsula Stadium on Saturday as Salop exited the FA Cup in the first round for the first time since 2013.
