A team of quantity surveyors have returned to the Anglesey school they helped to build as part of an enterprise scheme for young children.
CQS Solutions and Bowen Consultants quantity surveyors of Telford and Welshpool were involved in the construction of a new building at Ysgol y Graig in Llangefni for client, Isle of Anglesey Council.
The new Foundation Phase building at Ysgol y Graig opened earlier this year creating spaces for 150 more primary age children. Its net zero design means it uses no more energy than it generates. The scheme supports the development of enterprise skills dealing with themes such as sustainability, wellbeing, inclusion and diversity. It also links school with a business partner to sponsor the sessions.
