Fourteen-year-old Shyanne-Lee Tatnell has not been seen or heard from since April 30. Now community members are getting involved in the search to find her.
Community members and police will conduct line searches of the North Esk River in Launceston today, as the search for missing teenager Shyanne-Lee Tatnell continues.A community search will get underway today for missing Tasmanian teenager Shyanne-Lee Tatnell, who hasn't been seen or heard from for 10 days.
Police believe Miss Tatnell was on her way to visit a friend at the time of her disappearance, but she did not arrive.Earlier this week police said they do not suspect foul play but are investigating all possibilities.Inspector Craig Fox said specialist police officers from Search and Rescue would be deployed to assist in the search today.The dive squad, which has been used previously, will also be on hand, as well as the rescue helicopter.
Inspector Fox said police wanted to speak to anyone who was driving on Henry Street, in the vicinity of the North Esk River, between the hours of 8pm and 9pm on April 30.
