Sian Welby has opened up on her experiences of parenthood almost six months after welcoming her daughter Ruby with partner Jake Beckett
Capital Breakfast's Sian Welby has shared her fresh "new perspective" on life following the birth of her daughter Ruby. The radio host and her partner, Jake Beckett, welcomed their first child in June, and now, five months on, Sian is relishing every aspect of motherhood, despite its challenges.
She added: "However, it's been just amazing, and I've just enjoyed every moment, really – even those tough days, it's just given me a whole new perspective." Since revealing her pregnancy back in February, Sian has kept her fans and listeners updated, including sharing details about an emergency C-section after plans for a water birth didn't go as expected.
Sian has expressed her delight as she narrated how her journey from pregnancy to motherhood with baby Ruby has been closely followed by her listeners on Capital. "What's been amazing for me is the listeners from Capital saw me through the whole pregnancy, and then through the birth, and then while I had Ruby, they've been on that journey with me," reports the Irish Mirror.
