Cats are known for attacking fresh sheets, especially ones straight from the dryer. But what's behind their unusual obsession?
A trio of Siberian cats from Italy named Turbo, Piuma, and Pila have left internet viewers in stitches when their owner shared what they did right after she changed the sheets on her bed.In the viral clip, shared on Instagram in May, under the username @turbo_piuma_pila, the three fluffy cats can be seen stretching their entire bodies as they enjoy an afternoon nap on the owner's clean sheets, as if they had been changed for their pleasure.
In fact, cats have a sense of smell that is about 14 times stronger than humans, so, even after you wash your clothes, your pet can still smell you.'Cats may also be drawn to sit on clean laundry to reintroduce familiar smells that were washed away,' the website added. The video quickly went viral on social media and has so far received over 1.7 million views and almost 100,000 views on the platform.
