The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said affected areas are Cagayan , including Babuyan and Camiguin Islands and the eastern portion of Isabela .In its 11 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa said the eye of Betty was estimated at 1, 170 kilometers east of Central Luzon.Pagasa said Betty has maintained its strength of 195 kilometers per hour near the center, with gustiness of up to 240 kph and is moving west-northwest at 30 kilometers per hour from 25kph.
Strong typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 600 kms from the center.'The enhanced southwest monsoon may bring strong breeze to near gale conditions with intermittent gusts beginning on tomorrow evening or early Monday over Visayas, the eastern portions of Central and Southern Luzon, and the northern and eastern portions of Mindanao,' Pagasa weather forecaster Daniel James Villamil said.
