Sigourney Weaver —considered, by many, to be acting’s preeminent Sigourney—might be about to add yet another Hollywood sci-fi blockbuster franchise to her already considerable resumé. THR reports that Weaver has apparently entered talks to appear in upcoming Star Wars film The Mandalorian & Grogu , marking what would be her first appearance in the Star Wars universe.

Building on the popular Disney+ TV show, and directed by series mastermind Jon Favreau, the film seems to be operating on the basic premise that people like the guy in the mask, they like the little green dude, so presumably they’ll actually bother to go see a movie about them. As for Weaver, she’s, well, Sigourney Weaver: Alien, Ghostbusters, and most recently Avatar, a series she persists in starring in even though she 100 percent died in that first movie.
