The main thrust of this series, told over six episodes as opposed to generally self-contained two-parters, concerned the murder of the health secretary and some shady businesses called Vigil and UNITAS.
Nikki's ex-husband Tom was framed for the murder by Vigil boss Ethan and slimy politician Oscar, but our protagonists proved his innocence. Now Oscar is in jail while Tom is serving as his legal representation, although he looks like he's more interested in revenge than defending.Meanwhile, as Nikki sees Simone off at the airport, she gets a text saying:"I can't let it go. I'm sorry.
"You might think the death of Conor would be an ending for Jack, but actually episode 4 opened up so many more stories ahead for him I'm sure… that feels more real to me.", you need to work hard not to completely close too many stories down," he added."You want to leave threads hanging and to play with, but also, they have to have freedom to go in absolutely the opposite direction. The adaptability of the show is what has helped it to regenerate and run for so long.
He also stated that the reception to the change in format for series 25 went down really well with fans, so perhaps we could see more stories play out over an entire series in the future. Only time will tell.Sign up for Disney+
