Manchester City have tied the Portuguese midfielder to a new contract which runs until 2026, ending immediate questions about his future
Bernardo Silva's father has revealed that three clubs tried to buy the Manchester City midfielder this summer.
Most of the summer has seen Silva linked with moves away from City. His father, Paulo, claims that Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and a club from Saudi Arabia all made attempts to sign from City. Silva has been touted to return to boyhood club Benfica before his career ends. If he sees through his City deal, that would leave him a free agent in 2026, at the age of 32.
