Simon Cowell speaks out on terrifying accident for first time: ‘I nearly smashed my spine to pieces’
Simon Cowell has candidly spoken out about his terrifying accident, where he fell off his bike at his Malibu home in August last year.
Speaking on US TV show Extra, Simon opened up on the incident as he said: “First of all, it could have been a lot worse. When I saw the X-ray I really nearly smashed my spine to pieces so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk! As he appeared on the show, he gestured to the host Terri Seymour and said: “And, in fact, you and Lauren were outside the hospital all night long, I remember.”
