Simon was nominated for best TV judge but lost to David, while Britain's Got Talent lost best talent show to Strictly Come Dancing., which saw him also play one of the show's wannabe stars.
As well as the unflattering portrayal of Simon in a totally open white shirt and shades, he donned a gold dress to become Alesha and a glam pink outfit for Amanda. David retorted, “Bertie is my dog. I would expect you to know the name of my son. If you bothered to send a card or a present . . . ”
