Simon Gregson has shared his thoughts on Steve McDonald's future on Coronation Street, following his wife Tracy Barlow's affair and exit. Steve was left devastated after finding out about Tracy and Tommy Orpington's affair in sad scenes.
The storyline has left fans wondering if actress Kate Ford is leaving Coronation Street, with nothing has yet been confirmed. It looks like Steve is going nowhere though, and actor Simon, 49, has revealed what could be in store for newly-single Steve. Could Steve find love with another Coronation Street resident? He'd be lucky if he did, Simon seems to think. He said: "I think anyone will do, at this point in Steve’s life he’d be lucky to have anybody! If she’s got a pulse and she can make a sandwich I think Steve would be happy."
