Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has been speaking about Dan Friedkin and Farhad Moshiri following the Everton takeover deal announcement
The Everton takeover deal is good news for the club because Dan Friedkin is “a significant individual with proper wealth” - while dealing with Farhad Moshiri is “like nailing a jelly to a wall”, claims Simon Jordan. Despite speaking to Moshiri’s friend Jim White on talkSPORT , Jordan pulled no punches when it came to his appraisal of the Blues’ wantaway majority shareholder. Moshiri announced on Monday that he had agreed to sell his entire 94.1% stake in Everton to the Friedkin Group.
However, after coming back to the table to seal a deal, Jordan believes that they will make better owners than rival bidder John Textor, who had appeared to have been in pole position in the race until recent days, despite having to offload his own 45% stake in Crystal Palace. He said: “I get the impression this might be a cash deal so it’s not going to be debt-laden.
