Sleep experts say that a simple 10 minute hack could make you feel like you've had an extra 45 minutes of sleep.

Waking up and feeling ready for the day is easier said than done, even after a full eight hours of sleep many people will still need to reach for a mug of coffee for an energy boost. However, a simple ten minute hack could leave you feeling as if you've had an extra 45 minutes of sleep per night, according to experts.

The researchers asked 105 entrepreneurs in America how exhausted they were, how much they slept, and if they practiced mindfulness. More than 40 percent of the participants reported working 50 hours per week or more, on average, and sleeping less than six hours a night. The research showed how sleep and mindfulness help each other, as researchers concluded that "these two factors compensate for one another; as the usage of one increases, the efficacy of the other decreases."

However the findings did also show that the exercises didn't help those who were getting enough sleep but feeling exhausted due to stress of work.
