‘Simpsons’ episode axed over Donald Trump’s attempted assassination
An episode of “ The Simpsons ” was reportedly pulled from airing on Channel 4 in the UK after a gunman shot at Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania campaign rally on Saturday. The plot follows Lisa as she discovers that the founder of her hometown, Springfield, was a murderous pirate who tried to kill George Washington at one time, and viewed the citizens of Springfield with contempt. Lisa tries to tell everyone the truth about the town founder, but nobody is interested in hearing it.
