'The finale will be quite an emotional event'
A Belfast musician is saying goodbye to a weekend residency he has entertained crowds at for almost 30 years.
Last week, he announced that he would be stepping away from the slot - but not after one last Sunday spectacular. The Empire is inviting music lovers from across Northern Ireland who have had the chance to jam out at Ken Haddock's Sunday Supper Club to stop by on December 22 for one last goodbye special.
"Ken is not just a legend in the Empire, but across the entirety of the local music scene, working closely with many local festivals and venues, as well as weddings and other events. Up-and-coming artist Taylor Lally will be doing official support on the night but as with every other special night with Ken, crowds can expect a few surprises to take the stage as well.Steven Bradley, Entertainment Manager at the Belfast Empire said: "All good things must come to an end, but in a way it’s nice that the Ken and the band are finishing their residency while still at the top of their profession.
