The teenager, who gave his account of what happened in a letter to the Sunday Independent, said he was 16 years old at the time.On Monday, O'Neill was asked by Democratic Unionist Party assembly member Jonathan Buckley to clarify what age the boy was.

She added that she was "deeply sorry and angry" that the young person had to "endure any inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour" and added that Ó Donnghaile had faced consequences for his actions.
