During his 27 years as Manchester United manager, the 82-year-old won 13 Premier League titles, two Champions Leagues, five FA Cups and four EFL Cups, before retiring in 2013. An accompanying six-part podcast - Sporting Giants: Sir Alex Ferguson - will also be available on BBC Sounds from 26 December and on BBC Radio 5 Live across the festive period, with a bonus episode on 3 January.
